About this deal

Normally I would find the silver screws unattractive, but, this particular fan is white, so it should be fine. I cannot stress on how much I can highly recommend this seller, professional, very polite and very friendly. The leading edges of the P12 are significantly curved so that the air streams have a cylindrical trajectory and more effectively avoid contact with the frame.

If the blades were smaller, a lot of air would escape through them, which would reduce the airflow the more resistance the fan would have to overcome. If the BioniX P120 catches up to the P12 anywhere, it’s when the P12’s sharper tonal peaks significantly limit the P12 when the speed is controlled for equal noise level. However, if you wanted the fan to have a little extra pizzaz, you could always use the Akasa Digital 120mm frame with RGB LED lighting to get the bling.

Maximum Quietness, Minimum Vibration Due to a sinus-magnetizing the new motor only creates about 5 % of the vibration from commutation of a regular DC-motor without filter. All relevant information such as warranty, QR code, size, and colour are clearly displayed on the front as well as an attractive picture of the fan. LCP is stiffer, but the blades of P12 are really long and even with this material there will be some vibrations at their tips. Thus there is a considerable cross-sectional area covered by the blades, so that the airflow does not decrease excessively even if the fan is operating on restrictive obstacles.

The P12 has a half centimeter narrower tunnel, so the rotor is closer to the obstacle, which changes the airflow velocity in addition to the noise.

One of the main selling points is how a fan can adjust its speed depending on the temperature of the item it is cooling. Note: Your question will be publicly visible and can - in addition to our support - also be answered by a member of our community.

So on the face of it, the rotor looks the same, as long as the illustrations on Arctic’s current web site are consistent with it. Over the years, I’ve read several anecdotes from users about the humming issues being less prevalent on these models, but so far no reviews from anyone with the necessary expertise and equipment look into it in more depth. However, the distance to the corresponding connector is increased so that cable management won’t be as easy.
