The JF-10 Dyna compressor pedal is at the lower end of the scale, but is robustly built and has a picture of a scorpion on the front. It easily does in its lower settings what the Joyo does flat out, but has the range to go a lot further. Apparently it works better with a stronger signal into the input and I might yet try this out of curiosity. Overall, these are seemingly subtle, yet essential traits of a good sound, and you should not underestimate them in favor of some flashy effects.
