Roller Competition 2010
The Didcot Phoenix Cycle Club annual Roller Racing Competition took place on the 26th Feb 2010. Four Teams, each with 5 cyclists, competed to cover the furthest distance over 15 minutes. Using two rollers, the teams sprinted in stints of up to 45 seconds, switching between rollers. DPCC used a tactic of 45 second intervals, but on the night the quicker teams ued intervals of 30 seconds. Reading CC managed to hold onto their trophy, winning the competiton with a total mileage of 12.43m.
