About this deal

Will probably also need root concealer but less of it for a while until all the colour grows out completely Some people found that they could leave their hair that way after de-colouring it. The remover works evenly without leaving any blotches and uneven coloured spots. But if you are not comfortable with the final colour, you can use a dye immediately after. What we like about it:

I applied the mixture, which went on really easily. In my experience with home hair colours, it is difficult (and often painful) to try and comb the dye through but, thankfully, the lotion in Colourless Hair Colour Remover is easy to comb through. One thing to note: When talking about hair colour removers, we are talking about permanent hair colour removers. Most hair colour removers work best on permanent, not semi-permanent, hair colour. For semi-permanent dye, you can either rinse it out or wait for it to fade on its own. I tried out the “Max Strength” version, because I’ve been dyeing my hair quite dark recently and wanted to bring it down to the previous lighter tones so I could go for a different look (more about that later). Once the lotion was all applied, and my hair was sufficiently covered, I wrapped myself in cling film and started to get a better picture of how an oven ready turkey may feel. My hair before I applied the lotion I struggled to get a comb through my hair when I went to dry it but think that's because I normally use conditioner and detangler.

HOW DOES THE HAIR COLOUR REMOVER MAGIC WORK? Our Hair colour remover, removes permanent hair dye from the hair by gently reducing the size of permanent hair dye particles held within hair so the dye becomes small enough to simply wash out. This means you can remove permanent hair dye and restore your hair colour at home without the need for bleach or ammonia. But it works really well. Instead of using bleach that will damage your hair, get a bottle of this. It’s easy to apply. It comes with clear instructions to guide you.

It removes both permanent and semi permanent colour, and also helps to remove build up – perfect if you have been colouring your hair for years. It’s free of ammonia, bleach and other harsh chemicals. So it doesn’t dry out your hair or make it brittle. This means that you can safely re-colour your hair immediately after de-colouring it.This is a safe and effective way to remove colour from your hair. It will gently strip away dyed colour from your hair without using bleach products, which is a great bonus and will protect your hair from damage.

So would I recommend JoBaz Colour Remover Extra Strength? Well, in honesty I was a little disappointed. I’ve had better results using Colour B4 Extra Strength in the past and still think its worth paying the extra to try Decolour Remover. However, if this is all you can get your hands on I don’t think its a bad product. It did what it said on the box, it did remove the unwanted colour although I personally felt some were left behind. The hairs condition was ok, a little dry but nothing conditioner couldn’t fix and the product didn’t cost as much as the other 2 I have compared it too. It was ok, but that’s all I’m giving it in honesty and I probably wouldn’t use it again as I feel there are better ones on the market.Apply the remainder of bottle C and massage to lather like a shampoo for 1 minute. Now rinse for a further 5 minutes New from the UK,JoBaz Hair Colour Remover is a simple and effective home treatment especially formulated to reverse an undesirable hair colour application or simply if you want to change your look. After having used color removing products in the past, I was skeptical that this one wouldn't dry my hair to the consistency of straw and make it a bright, patchy pumpkin color. Hair colour remover is effective, but it does smell pretty grim. You can get rid of the lingering odour by using some natural remedies: baking soda mixed with water in a spray and sprayed all over your hair is a good solution.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Colourless for agreeing to send me their product to review. I couldn’t be happier with the result. After lots of rinsing, shampooing and blow drying I was so pleased with the result. I have not applied any dye to my hair, this is literally the colour that it went after removing the lotion. I love the colour and I also love the ombre type effect where the lengths have had more colour build up on them. I was planning on dying my hair but, having seen the colour it has gone, I am actually so happy and will be leaving it the colour it turned out. The finished result after rinsing, shampooing & blow drying By shrinking the artificial dye molecules in the hair, the colour is simply washed away, leaving hair looking vibrant and healthy. Incorporated into the formula is an intense nourishing treatment, allowing the hair to be re-coloured straight away.

Once rinsed, apply half the bottle of the buffer solution and work it into the hair as you would a normal shampoo.
