| Didcot Phoenix have regular Sunday excursions of about 3 hours, maybe a bit longer. The current meeting/start point is by the Broadway pub at 9:30 and we usually stop about 11:30 for tea & cake. The map shows typical destinations. Depending on the weather, peoples' commitments and route we ride back with the aim to return to Didcot between 12:30 and 13:30. |  |

This can mean 30 to 60 miles avoiding busy roads as far as possible. Computers usually indicate a total ride average of ~16 mph while regularly bowling along at 18 to 20 mph - good conditions can see us crank up to 23-24 mph on occasions. Everybody take a turn at the front and nobody gets dropped. |
