About this deal

The series was always about Ogaki admittedly indulging himself in all his favorite things, so it fits about as well as him letting Gordon eat delicious-looking meals or enjoy surrogate sauna time. I love the simplicity of the writing where you can enjoy anything and everything with the beautiful backgrounds, the cool and cute characters and with what little information you are told, you can piece together things yourself. The manga uses the deadline as a destination, insinuating the story was always driving in that direction.

I think a lot of folks who wring their hands about The State Of Pokémon™ would be better off just realizing that they outgrew Pokémon and stop making that GAME FREAK's fault. Even when he finds a town, you can see dunes settled around buildings that are in rough shape, and the townsfolk aren't in the best shape themselves. Post-apocalyptic food truck vendor with a mysterious—yet skilled—past stumbles upon a naked girl in the middle of the desert one day. I guess they meant crazy because the food truck guy finds a naked girl in a freezer like container because that has never happened… oh wait Outlaw Star that was a main plot and lots of other manga have found a young naked female character in a box. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice.Supreme Chef: Gordon's food is delicious to anyone who tastes it, though usually it's just him and Arisa. The characters are well-developed and relatable, and the plot twists kept me on the edge of my seat. I was drawn in from the very first page and couldn't put it down until I had finished the entire book. This trouble turns out to be a sleeping bag full of Arisa, a young girl on the run who is a lot more than she appears and also shows off a lot more than you’d suspect at any given moment.

Probably not being what I tend to read plays a part in that, but if someone who's not that big into this type of manga recommends it, I'd say it's worth a shot. From a hidden shower to a sign with what the truck is up at at the moment (Turbo for instance when it is driving super fast). I'd definitely recommend this series to those who enjoyed food manga set in another world such as Delicious in Dungeon and Drifting Dragons. Worth noting that there is a lot of nudity from Arisa—the mysterious “plot” girl—but the protagonist food truck chef balances it out by acting like her concerned father and always making an effort to cover her and teach her basic human lessons in comical ways. And let's see, to "respect" her in some sense, he gives her a kind of superpower, when he remains just this crazy food truck owner. The cover is what got me interested and I was surprised to learn that the series is only three books long. It reminded me of the back in the day when manga was mirrored so Americans could read the manga left to right.
