About this deal

They are the cutest 😭😭 I'm proud of him that he didn't forced anything on Kennedy when she asked him to leave her. The one you hung around for in New York when she was still just a girl, even though you were suffering, and wanting to go, but you stayed because of love? I’m a diehard fan of Ms Darhower and once again, she has showed me her versatile writing in all its glory. But somewhere along the way, Johnathan lets the pressure and Hollywood life ruin the one good relationship he has and Kennedy fears she's loosing herself too.

and i’m not gonna lie here, some of the things he did really upset me and there were times i wanted to punch him in the face but i can understand why he acted the way he did. The exceptional banter in just the right places made me yearn for more, the secondary characters engaged me and appropriately shifted the story, distracting me from what was the main characters’ bearings; but at the same time, is intertwined. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. You have all the makings of a modern-day tragic hero, and she’s never felt so compelled to explore somebody’s story before… even if that’s kind of creepy, ugh. She moans and wraps her arms around my neck, clinging to me damn near aggressively as she kicks the door closed. Having read many stories that alternate between time periods in such a manner, I know how difficult it can be for an author to pull this off without losing the reader along the way. Ghosted is told in split present-day first-person alternating chapters between the two lead characters – Kennedy and Jonathan – and second-person chapters detailing their past.

His popularity with teachers and fellow students alike isn't exactly brilliant; however, a light at the end of the tunnel comes from the most unexpected source. Because despite the rocky situations they were in, the story flowed in smoothly in terms of its sequences and pacing. I stand here for a moment before the door cracks open again, her head peeking out as she whispers, “You gots to knock. He knows that high school is short-lived, once he’s out, he has no plans to ever follow the rules again (not that he did follow many rules).

The way that this second chance romance unravels and the way the author gives the reader the POV from the past? He’s quiet for a moment, resting his head on top of mine before he asks, “What’s wrong with forever? She’s kissing me, and I’m so fucking stunned that it takes me a moment to react, a moment to consider kissing her back.

The sacrifices for both characters are great, and the supporting characters enhance the story significantly with a continuous stream of loyalty and love showered on Kennedy, Jonathan, and Madison. don’t get me wrong, there is groveling, but in my opinion she forgave him a little too quickly and that’s my only complaint. The physical intimacy between Jonathan and Kennedy is intense as they both focus on reconnecting and learning to love again.I just felt so awful for the heroine over how damn selfish, inconsiderate, and self absorbed the hero was. Nope, totally not but it was written so well that I could overlook the lack of those typical sweet and fluffy moments.
