About this deal

Rebecca has been a part of the Happy Place Tribe since the beginning providing tips, interviews and sessions with how the breath can help us through challenging times. Fearne Cotton is one of the best known and most popular broadcasters in the UK and is most recently known as the Founder of the wellbeing brand, Happy Place. She explains how she made career choices that weren’t right for her and the impact this had on her mental health.

She comes to realise that speaking up is usually far less damaging to others than we believe it will be – either they don’t care or they get over it.Thankyou for helping me question those truths and making me aware of more truth telling humans that I can’t wait to discover and learn from! Speak Your Truth dives into all the ways we learn to stay quiet for the wrong reasons, and explores how to.

An almighty positive which came out of a terrible year, let it inspire us all to stand tall, look the new year right in the eye and resolve to speak our truth. Fearne's voice is clear throughout this book that this is not simply a "quick fix" but more of a journey - one you're about to embark on in parallel with her. Fearne Cotton's voice is familiar to millions, whether that's through television, radio or on her hugely successful 'Happy Place' podcast. I did feel like the last third resonated less with me and was more about the world in general re: culture, politics, wider movements, so while it was interesting it wasn't as thoroughly encompassing as the first two thirds.THE INSPIRING SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLER'Fearne Cotton is a tireless seeker of the truth, and a wonderful communicator of sanity, hope, and (most refreshingly of all) reality. It was such a thrill for me to receive her new manuscript and to be one of the first few people in the world to read her latest work before it is packaged and presented to the public in book form. This was the first in a series of books talking about her own, and some of the not so positive, experiences with happiness.

It is reassuring to hear others feel things the way I do, when others like to tell you your over sensitive, weird, hang onto things for too long because they have barraged you with their own thoughts and do not accept you may have a different thought ! It speaks to the way I have hidden my true self and been afraid of speaking my truth for fear of the consequences. Her next book, Happy, talks about her own experiences of happiness (including some of the not-so-happy ones), and was published February 2017. She tells the listener (or reader) about the challenge of being home together with restricted outlets. After your payment transaction is approved, TicketCo will send you a ticket or purchase confirmation within one hour. There are some useful insights but I’m not walking away feeling much more empowered to “speak my truth.

Fearne is currently back in her role as team captain on the 16th series of Celebrity Juice, a show that continues to be a ratings winner for ITV2. It was an easy read and did not require me to concentrate much so in that sense it was relaxing however it sounded more like I was reading Ferne's daily journal as some of the parts almost felt like a rant. As she considered what silence would mean, Fearne began to think about other times her voice had gone unheard - as a young woman, as 'just the talent', as the foil to louder, more dominant figures.Fearnes brutal honesty with herself in this book is incredible and she gives fantastic analogy’s with her points. Speak Your Truth is an easy-read but remains thought-provoking – it’s the perfect read for these peculiar times. She fervently believes that conscious breathwork is the ultimate key to our well-being, health and inner peace.
