If it shoots like a Stongarm, has the same size as a Strongarm – how can you go wrong with the Disruptor? The Nerf N-Strike Elite Disrupter blaster has a 6-dart rotating drum so battlers can fire 6 darts in a row without reloading. Choose your target and fire one dart at a time or unleash all six darts in rapid succession with slam-fire action. Unlike other blasters such as the 2013 Strongarm, the Disruptor's cylinder does not drop down out of it, with reloads instead done through its exposed dart barrels.
Larger items, primarily outdoor or ride-on products are shipped directly from Hamleys partners and may take longer to arrive. In the thick of the action, it was even better as to put even a single dart into the Strongarm you need to drop out the cylinder, whereas the Disruptor lets you put a dart in and be ready to fire much faster – a real lifesaver in a tight spot.With some slight colour differences and minus the frame below the rotating drum, the Disruptor looks almost the same as the Strongarm, as well as the same length. Internally, it is nearly identical to the Strongarm, so much so that the Strongarm upgrade kit from Orange Mod Works is reputed to be highly compatible with the Disruptor. With a decent firepower, fast reload speed and a good dart capacity (for its size), the Disruptor is an ideal secondary blaster.
It has the same orange and blue color combo as the other Elite blasters, and a slightly more streamlined style to the Strongarm, which makes it slightly easier to holster and draw. It seems to be quite solid and substantial but I don't think it would survive being dropped from a significant height. The rotating drum holds 6 darts, which is typical for most sidearm blasters, but it’s not going to last if you go with Slam Fire mode. Choose your target and fire 1 dart at a time, or unleash all 6 darts in rapid succession with slam-fire action. The Disruptor uses a spring fire mechanism, which rotates the turret as it is primed, making it much less prone to jams that the earlier mechanisms which rotated the turret as the trigger was pulled.
