About this deal

During the war the German army issued binoculars to some of their troops with specialised functions. The Gruppenführer or group leader would have one for instance. These binoculars or Doppelfernrohr where expensive and strictly army property. These where therefor engraved with Dienstglas noting the army property. The most common type is the 6×30 strength Dienstglas. 6×30 designates the capacity of the binoculars. The first number (6) refers to the magnification and the second number (30) indicates the diameter of the objective lens (the light-gathering lens) in millimeters. These binoculars where made out of different materials such as Aluminium, Zinc and Bakelite. The metal ones where first furnished with a leather or pressed paper wrap and later in the war in different finishes such as Anodization, Paint or Bluing. Later in the war binoculars where also finished in tan or Sandgelb paint. The binoculars have two adjustable eyepieces or Okulare with bakelite or aluminium end pieces. The right eyepiece features a reticle or Strichplatte in scale 6400 which is used to calculate distances. I will further discuss the use of this in another article that will be linked here. a b Gourley, S.; Kemp, I (November 26, 2003). "The Duellists". Jane's Defence Weekly ( ISSN 0265-3818), Volume 40 Issue 21, pp 26–28. In mathematics, a fraction is a number that represents a part of a whole. It consists of a numerator and a denominator. The numerator represents the number of equal parts of a whole, while the denominator is the total number of parts that make up said whole. For example, in the fraction of 3

An alternative method for finding a common denominator is to determine the least common multiple (LCM) for the denominators, then add or subtract the numerators as one would an integer. Using the least common multiple can be more efficient and is more likely to result in a fraction in simplified form. In the example above, the denominators were 4, 6, and 2. The least common multiple is the first shared multiple of these three numbers. Multiples of 2: 2, 4, 6, 8 10, 12 Okularschutz, a leather, bakelite or rubber eye shield cover to keep dirt out of the lenses. It is attached to the straps and often referred to as a rain shield. The short answer is that there is no single standard door size since doors in the UK don’t have to be a specific size. a b c d e f g h Oliver, David (2007). "Global Defence Review— In the Line of Fire". GDR Publications. Archived from the original on October 16, 2006 . Retrieved 2009-10-19.Standard door sizes in the UK can be a bit confusing due to the different options and units of measurement used within the industry.

It is often easier to work with simplified fractions. As such, fraction solutions are commonly expressed in their simplified forms. 220 To satisfy the requirement, the minimum doorway clear opening width should be 750mm when approached head-on from a corridor clear passageway that is 900mm wide. There are slightly different requirements depending on the width of the corridor and whether or not the approach is head-on, with 800mm being the largest minimum width.Effective range:~300m (984ft) (HK claims that the FMJ round has more retained energy than the "Combat Steel" due to the FMJ's heavier projectile.) The first multiple they all share is 12, so this is the least common multiple. To complete an addition (or subtraction) problem, multiply the numerators and denominators of each fraction in the problem by whatever value will make the denominators 12, then add the numerators. To help you get a clearer idea of the various door sizes in the UK and the units of measurement, we’ve prepared a handy conversion chart. THESE BINOCULARS COME WITH BARRELS THAT ARE PEBBLE WRAP COVERED & FRAMES THAT ARE HEAVY GRAIN COATED TO PROTECT THEM DURING FIELD USE. the numerator is 3, and the denominator is 8. A more illustrative example could involve a pie with 8 slices. 1 of those 8 slices would constitute the numerator of a fraction, while the total of 8 slices that comprises the whole pie would be the denominator. If a person were to eat 3 slices, the remaining fraction of the pie would therefore be 5 Internal doors have to meet minimum width requirements due to Building Regulations. Approved Document M Volume 1: Access to and use of buildings (2015 edition incorporating 2016 amendments – for use in England) stipulates the minimum standard door width of internal doors in newly built visitable dwellings to provide sufficient disabled access. Hopefully, our conversion charts have given you a clearer idea of what you’re likely to come across in terms of door widths and door heights in both metric and imperial units. When a is a fraction, this essentially involves exchanging the position of the numerator and the denominator. The reciprocal of the fraction 3

the decimal would then be 0.05, and so on. Beyond this, converting fractions into decimals requires the operation of long division. Similarly, fractions with denominators that are powers of 10 (or can be converted to powers of 10) can be translated to decimal form using the same principles. Take the fraction 1 Knopflasche, a leather or presstoff piece of material meant to strap the binoculars to a button on the tunic. It is fastened with one or two metal studs.Trageriemen, a narrow leather string attached with two metal studs. Sometimes these straps are adjustable with multiple stud holes but most of the time they are not. Having said that, we should point out that there are a few commonly found options that are typically described as ‘standard door sizes’. The industry hasn’t widely decided which measurement is king yet. So, the metric to imperial door size conversion charts below should help you understand the standard door size in the UK.
