About this deal

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. He continued illustrating as a sideline after establishing a surgical practice in 1933, but he ultimately opted to give up his practice in favor of a full-time commitment to art.

Netter Atlas of Human Anatomy: Classic Regional Approach—Same content as the systems approach, but organized traditionally, body region by body region.P>

For students and clinical professionals who are learning anatomy, participating in a dissection lab, sharing anatomy knowledge with patients, or refreshing their anatomy knowledge, the Netter Atlas of Human Anatomy illustrates the body, system by system, in clear, brilliant detail from a clinician’s perspective. Netter began his long collaboration with the CIBA Pharmaceutical Company (now Novartis Pharmaceuticals). Netter Atlas of Human Anatomy: Classic Regional Approach— hardback Professional Edition with downloadable image bank for personal use.

Netter (25 April 1906 – 17 September 1991) was an American surgeon and celebrated medical illustrator. P>

For students and clinical professionals who are learning anatomy, participating in a dissection lab, sharing anatomy knowledge with patients, or refreshing their anatomy knowledge, the Netter Atlas of Human Anatomy illustrates the body, region by region, in clear, brilliant detail from a clinician’s perspective. Updated terminology based on the international anatomic standard, Terminologia Anatomica , with common clinical eponyms included. There is also a small section at the back of the book with a Elsevier Genuine Code or something; don't waste your time with this.Review: Clinical Anatomy Made Ridiculously Simple (4e, our school's required text) and/or BRS Gross Anatomy (now at 9e). The Netter illustrations are appreciated not only for their aesthetic qualities, but, more importantly, for their intellectual content. Illustrated by clinicians, for clinicians, it contains more than 550 exquisite plates plus dozens of carefully selected radiologic images for common views. The paper and binding quality is nothing special, and a little flimsier than I'd like but it should hold up under normal usage.

Netter Atlas of Human Anatomy: A Systems Approach—Same content as the classic regional approach, but organized by organ systems.I haven't tried the StudentConsult access yet, but I suppose it will be roughly similar to what we get from Thieme's (except that dissection videos come only with Netter's).
