Another windy evening greeted the hardy bunch that tackled the Stadhampton course. Mark Cox (Fairly united CT) was the quickest on the evening with DPCC’s Harri James 2nd. Many thanks to all the helpers for running another smooth event.
Next week we return to Stadhampton for the Ben Owen Memorial Invitational TT.
A windy but dry evening saw Tim Allen (Team Vision Innovative Leisure) take the win on his road bike on the Brightwell CC243a course. We are still looking for most of the roles for next weeks TT on a return to Stadhampton – please email firstname.lastname@example.org to volunteer.
A message from our Club President – Tim Davies…
A big thanks to Simon Evans and David Emms for organising two great races this weekend. Thanks also to the comms, the motorbike squad, the accredited marshals, including a big group from Mickey Cranks and the rest of the marshals. Finally thanks to the riders for coming – we hope you enjoyed the racing.
Well done Phoenix – we can be proud of ourselves today. Next up TTs and audax – get involved.

Not a bad day at the Office for DPCC in the Antelope 50km 3-up team time trial. Firstly club lady Lucy Austin, Karla Boddy (Corley cycles), Suzy Robinson (VC10) formed a composite team to win the Ladies prize! And in the mens standings, Simon Kelly, Paul Demicoli and Simon Evans, rode solidly on a mix of TT and road bikes. And finally Richard Gildea, Harri James and Martin Stanley, were just 6 minutes off 1st place (to national level riders), but did find themselves on 2nd step of the podium.
