This cup was donated by John
Cole to be used for a handicap 10 mile time trial on Boxing Day. John gives
handicap allowances for this event designed to give the “non-racing” members
a chance to win a trophy and encourage them to race the following year.
In the 2002 AGM the club rules were changed so the handicap is now based
on a target table calculated using the national records for 10 miles for
age categories and gender.
