Earlier memories are fragmented and as a result, the earlier part of the book is also very fragmented. I found myself rooting for Hannibal throughout this book and reflecting on the other three books in this series.Running low on supplies, the soldiers soon take Mischa; realizing they intend to cannibalize her, Hannibal tries to stop them, only to have his arm broken before he blacks out. Containing themes including psychopathy, death, torture, and, of course, cannibalism, this particular psychological horror series has captivated thousands of readers over the decades.
