Club Runs

Start times
March/April to October 09:00 BST
late October to March 09:30 GMT

About the club runs
Didcot Phoenix have regular Sunday excursions of about 3-4 hours, maybe a bit longer.

NEW MEETING POINT FOR 2018:
Boundary Park, Greenwood Way, Didcot, OX11 6EF

We usually stop about 11:00 for tea/coffee & cake. Depending on the weather, peoples’ commitments and route we ride back with the aim to return to Didcot between 12:30 and 13:30.

This can mean 40 to 60 miles avoiding busy roads as far as possible. Computers usually indicate a total ride average of ~17 mph while regularly bowling along at 18 to 20 mph – good conditions can see us crank up to 23-24 mph on occasions. Whenever we get a good turnout we split the group (usually based on speed).

Ride leaders needed! We always need people to lead the rides. You can get in touch via the forum or email. It can be quite nice to choose your favourite cafe/route; or to help you we’ve assembled some routes that work well.

If you are under 18, an Event Consent Form must be signed. Please print off a copy of this form and give it to the ride leader.

In order to ensure the ride is safe and enjoyable for all riders, please take a look at the Club Run Guidelines by clicking on the link.
