It’s been a while since a reminder about this, so:
PLEASE fit a full-length rear guard before coming on a wet club-run. Even if it’s not raining, wet and/or muddy roads make it pretty unpleasant to ride behind a bare back wheel.
Have a read here – there is lots of other good tips there too: http://www.didcotphoenix.co.uk/downloads/clubrunguidelines.pdf
Thanks, and Happy New Year!
Something new this Saturday – ride to a cafe for coffee/breakfast with other members.

… but it’s very simple! No fixed route or start, just get to the caff with/without friends – ride 5 miles or 50, it’s upto you. Post here or on Facebook if you’re coming, and/or to arrange someone to ride with.

NBRC are running their Jan 1st club “10” as usual, but with a twist.
Local boy Steve Abraham will make the race part of the first day of his attempt at the Annual Mileage Record. This is a mere 75,000 miles (about 205 miles-a-day), a record that has stood since 1939. Read all about it at http://oneyeartimetrial.org.uk/
I know Steve well from Audax rides, so I’m hoping to get over there and watch history being made (and hopefully photobomb Steve’s interview with ITV … )
It’s a regular “club” TT, so non-members are welcome to race Steve. The course is between Leighton Buzzard and MK: Info Here and here
